*Ideally you should plan to be in Antigua from the 7th to the 10th of January so you don't miss out on all wedding related events.

3. Transport & Contact
La Aurora International Airport (GUA), located in Guatemala City, is the closest point of entry for travelers arriving from abroad. Please note that Guatemala requires a tourist visa in some cases. Antigua is about 1h 20 m by car from the airport. To help you plan your trip better, we’ve arranged, together with Guatemala Nature, several recommended transportation options for both the trip from Guatemala City to Antigua and the return trip. Uber is also a safe option. Taxis in the capital are NOT recommended.
